Crazypicsonline.com cracks into Google Trends
Looks like someone has found way to forcibly get into Google Trends… While going through Google Trends I found an entry for crazypisconline.com
Now whatever keywords I find interesting I check by clicking on the link for why the keyword got high searches by looking through the associated blogs and news entries… And so I did for this sarch string.. and a surprise was waiting!

The search string did not have any news or blog post associated with it. It didn’t even had related searches!!
So I opened the Google Search Engine to find out about the site… Another surprise the keyword was found only a single site… a spam one that contains nothing but the Google Trends keywords…

Next I opened the search results for crazypicsonline.com with “site:” operator and…

So the site didnot have a single page on Google… Why why were people searching for it????
So it’s confirmed that someone hacked into their results by generating lots and lots of queries for crazypicsonline.com and ultimately succeeded to get into top positions… And when I started writing this post just an afterthought came… may be possible that Google banned the site and removed all the pages from its index… possible!! So I checked Yahoo! and …

I could not resist looking once at the site… and found it to be a single page which requires you to login and with not facility for registering…

So want to know how to crack into Google Trends ask people behind crazypicsonline.com
Update 08.03.2008: With comments getting added to this post it is getting clear that the searches didnot happen same location. It was indeed made by people astonished by mail that they found in their mailboxes. Warning : Don’t use this site. There is indeed something fishy there.
