Year One Digest
The two pillar post in the first year were Get your WordPress.com Blog Google Verified and Get into Technorati Top 100 in 24 Hours that brought most views in a single day.
The most searched for post or I should rather say series is one related to Tweaking Registry for Internet Explorer, Start Menu - XP & Vista others, Ctrl+Alt+Delete, Task Bar, Windows Media Center
A few of the posts were surprise winners that could have expected least visits but yes there are people up there who do require such trivial information. These posts were Asc() and Chr() in JavaScript, Convert PPS to PPT and How Many MegaPixels is a VGA Camera
Visual Basic related posts were among the most read ones. The highest viewed one were those related to Menus, Using Unicode fonts, getting Window handles and working with them, Shutdown API functions, Accessing Clipboard, storing Unicode data in databases
One of the popular search term that makes visitor reach this blog is “Excel Art” that sends you to my post describing an application for creating Pixel Art using a BMP picture. And yes making a form transparent was something that I used to search for before starting this blog and after starting learning WinAPI functions and now it’s served here.
This brings to the close of this digest as it’s no use rewriting same things over again and again. For more post see the Blog Revisited

I really liked this consolidating post.

Does this jalaj system work for Technorati in UAE also? If Technorati extracts the URL from the Header(say from some referrer in United Arab Emirates) Technorati gets the page content extracting iron and steel links on the page and storing them in its database. So will workaround of manually pinging Technorati by giving the URL of uaeiron.com of the new page that we just created improve the RRFC?
