I got to read a good post on geekyspeaky.com titled “stopping comment spammers in their tracks”. And then occurred to me that I should share with you a secret not documented anywhere on this blog.
All comments that quote my blog to be Interesting, Nice, Cool or otherwise feel Sorry for it are held in moderation queue.

Microsoft Released Art Of Office? Strange!
While browsing through my subscribed blogs on Google reader, I found a post from TechCrunch titled Microsoft Launches Art Of Office - Mac Users Pissed. What surprised me was that while launch date was given as 29th August 2007, I had already visited it on August 13th! and don’t remember it be described as one from Microsoft.

Some Copycats don’t use their brains, and some don’t have it like Ashwin Khanna. Ashwin Khanna by now is known in the Blogosphere for his fake $2500 contest created to get backlinks from contestants. Copycat is what he is not known till now.

Honesty is the Best Policy - Not for Ashwin Khanna
Ashwin Khanna, at his blog at “his name plus dot com” (I am not going to link to him), recently announced a contest with first and only prize worth $2500 that required copy/pasting a certain piece of text to a post for participation. Naturally the contest was intended to get backlinks and worked as anticipated getting him over 450 links. That was all OK except that on recent announcement of contest result, everyone was awestricken as the prize went to a blog that was open just two days ago on wordpress.com with only two posts including one that was meant for the contest.

WordPress.com Blog Stats gets better
WordPress.com have added ability to view Stats based on Weeks and Months showing you respectively data for last 30 weeks and 30 months (which of course no blog on wordpress.com qualify for as wordpress.com just turned 24 months old this week).

Google Hindi Transliteration spreads out
