Tweaking Registry for Start Menu
This post is next to the earlier two posts in “Tweaking Registry” series.
Visibility and functioning of Windows Start Menu can be modified in a large number of ways using the Registry Tweaks. Since the list is a large one with over 50 tweaks, I am producing them in two parts. This part provides information on tweaks that work on Windows 2000 and Onwards (some may also work for versions earlier than win 2000 and not specifically mentioned here. Tweaks added with Windows XP and later will be carried in next part.

Tweaking Registry for Ctrl+Alt+Delete
I was more than surprised when today I found, on statistics dashboard, a referrer link that originated from microsoft.com domain. Following the link I found it to be from a Windows XP Newsgroups where a user had recommended my post Tweaking Registry for Internet Explorer. Incidently this post is the most viewed one on this blog with over 2240 views till now. This once again reminded me, after Asc() and Chr() in JavaScript, that what may seem trivial to you may mean much more to some one else. So starting with this post I would be posting a series on Tweaking Registry. Hope you find the information provided here useful.

Search for words John Chow and if you expected John Chow’s blog (johnchow.com) to come on the top then you are wrong as he, though used to be there, has been punished by Google and thus finds place at 50+ position.

Click a Day Feature on WordPress.com
The dashboard of your WordPress.com blog now has an additional feature. The graph showing hits for last 30 days now has active links for each day which opens up a summary page showing all (or most of) the referrers, search keywords, top page views, clicks for that day.

Email forwarding - All Fun and No Responsibility ?
I normally don’t participate in email forwarding but do at times get forwarded mails, most of those being jokes that circulate on net. At times I also get some mails that tend to increase (or spoil, if you read ahead) your knowledge.
