Google adds Hindi Transliteration
That’s a great new for all those who work with Indian language fonts. There are many blogs which are in Hindi and most of their maintainers might be having hard times with the offline softwares they use… but at least these softwares cannot accompany you every where… you loose them and you loose continuity (I had my own hindi blog at http://hindijokes.blogspot.com/ and I used Baraha for posting content on it… Now that I cannot carry Baraha everywhere the blogs finds no updation)…
Not only blog I an sure Google will provide this facility to all other Google services and then you could just imagine….
I feel this step of Google has given a boost to Indian Language Computing.
Got a blog on blogger just the “Settings” page and you will find option to include Transliteration in posting page.
Once you have changed the settings… the posting page will include a additional button
I must admit… Google’s transliteration is far ahead of what evertbody has been providing as it checks dictionary for matching words and you can type in fastest way you could.
However with my practice for transliteration used by CDAC, which was the base for my own transliteration software Ashirwad, I found a few words not transliterating to expectation, which can be ignores as the word itself was an english one (Transliteration).
For words that doesn’t show up correctly you can click there to find alternate words…
and if you still don’t find the correct word you can click on edit and find a visual keyboard where you can manually rectify the entry…
Overall a good addition by Google and I look ahead for the inclusion in every google service including the Google Search page…

आप हिन्दी के लिये बहुत काम के हो सकते हैं। यदि आप हिन्दी ब्लागरों के साथ कन्धे से कन्धा मिलाकर काम अपना ब्लाग हिन्दी में लिखें और विशेष रूप से तकनीकी विषयों पर हिन्दी में लेख लिखें, या हिन्दी के कम्प्यूटर पर प्रयोग में आने वाली दिक्कतों को हल करने में मदद कर सकें तो हिन्दी का महान हित हो।

मुझॆ एक विषय में जानकारी की जरूरत हैं….
क्या गूगल में हम directly हिन्दी में लिख सकते हैं ? .
क्या किसी विशेष software install करना चाहियॆ…?
सरल अन्गरॆजी - हिन्दी शब्दकोश कहां मिल सकता है ?
मैं फिलहाल बरहा क प्रयॊग हर रही हूं…बरहा में लिखकर फिर उसे हर बार गूगल में copy-paste करना .. दिक्कत मेहसूस होती हैं

i want to know that if i m using the hindi in google translate then how i can use this in ms-word.

Suppose, if I have to write something in Hindi and choosing the Google Transliteration,if I have composed the matter, then How I can use the typed content in sending E-mail to any of friends. not only this but please also let me know how the typed matter can be pasted & saved in ms-word .
