Hindi and other India languages have developed a lot in last few years. C-DAC has pioneered in this field and it’s notable developments in this field, the sub-titles on the Regional Movies even fancied the mass people who never had exposure to Computers. As far as I recollect it was in 1983 that C-DAC came up with hardware & software solutions that encoded sub-titles in various India languages on the non-visible parts of Television signals which were decoded by individuals centres, each centre showing language that was common to people in that area.
